Bendix Petroleum Brake fluid constitutes one of the most important components in a braking system. BENDIX brake fluid is made with advanced prescriptions that meet the standards of GB10540-1998\JLSK1243BF - 3, SAE J1604, FMVSS NO.103 DOT 3 and ISO 5929. Bendix brake fluid exceeds FMVSS sec. 571. 116 DOT 3 motor vehicle brake fluid. SAE J1703 and ISO 4925 specifications. Mixes with all fluids meeting DOT 3 and DOT 4 specifications. For use in all drum or disc brake systems and hydraulic clutches, except with systems using mineral-based fluids (LHM). Bendix DOT 3 exhibits high dry boiling point (Equilibrium reflux boiling point ≥210℃, damp boiling point ≥145℃), good response viscosity over a wide range of temperatures, control rubber swell, and excellent corrosion inhibition. These unique properties produce effective transfer of the driver’s braking action to the brake discs or shoes.
